More Chinese Communist Party Trickery?
According to some observers, the Chinese government faked the Olympic torch relay to the summit of Mount Everest (google the following terms, “olympic torch mt everest fake” for examples.) There were other examples about trickery in the Olympics also.
Now some Chinese bloggers are insisting that the recent Space walk by Chinese taikonauts was actually conducted in a water tank on Earth. In an article from the Epoch Times (Australia) entitled, “Chinese Space Walk Filmed in Water, Say Chinese Bloggers” they cite as evidence the presence of bubbles, that the background doesn’t move, and that inappropriate lights appear. Links to YouTube videos are contained in the article.
If the Chinese government faked the Space Walk, then it surely is a disservice to the men and women that truly risk their lives in space, not to mention the effect on the Chinese people. Certainly it is possible that any country with a space program can perform a space walk and no one should infer from my comments that the Chinese government is any different.
If the Chinese Communist Party is going to lie about their accomplishments in space (and even on the highest mountain in the world,) then what will they not lie about?
